Exclusive Author Interview

Q. Characterize yourself in one word?

Creative.

Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.

One Second year guy made a small help to one of his junior girls at the time of Registration. This help made his life fully changed.

Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?

In our college days, discussions were more about the romances, disputes between two and one side affections toward girls. Our Age was the actual root cause of all this and I was the one between them who can easily understand feelings to a good extent.

And above all this, I have a strong belief that - Love is the main essence of life and a unique tool to keep a person alive. Love is a powerful energy source within a soul that on activation enhances gratitude, honesty, and happiness in our lives and so Love is the reason for Life.

I have summarised all my feelings & learning from life through the book’s characters and tried to touch every aspect of life. I have tried to create a festival of Holi played by all my characters with all colors of life which a reader will feel through its read.

I was having a dream to serve society with my best efforts and I always found books as the main creator of our society thought process. Since my childhood, becoming an Author was my dream which always encouraged me all the time.

Since then, I have started to collect a good amount of dust from my memory which I cast into bricks and through all these bricks, I got succeeded to make a beautiful home for all i.e “Satya…Tumhara Saath hi Shashvath hai.”

Q. What has been your biggest achievement?

One day, I was walking through my college entrance corridor and I noticed that a group of girls and boys were standing in front of my college wall magazine and everyone was busy reading my poems (It was a special issue published where only my poems were displayed).

I have noticed that an anonymous guy was copying one of the poems in his diary. I asked him why he is doing so and he replied that he had found some great lines which summarised all his life experiences.

He told me all this because he didn’t recognize me at that time. His appraise was the best prize, I have received to date.

Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break-in?

I am writing poems since I was 16 years old. Reading romantic fiction work by Sharatchandra influenced me a lot. During my college days, I published my first poem through my mechanical branch Wall magazine.

It was the first time when I was recognized as a Hindi Poet and my popularity motivated me a lot and given me the strength to keep on my writing work.

During college days, It was a pleasant time to discuss human behavior with many of my colleagues regarding their romances, break-ups, etc.

One of incidence during that tenure has given me a thought to write my first Debut “Satya……Tumhara Saath hi Shashvath hai.” I have created characters of my story by keeping an objective in mind to touch every aspect of life.

Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?

I have a personal blog. Platform as Facebook with name Autor Satyendra Singh Apurna where I spent my time sharing my poems, some good love quotes, etc.

Also, I use many platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook, Instagram to gain readership. Also, sensible reviews helped me in a greater way.

Q. Favorite book?

There are too many books to list. However, Pareenita by Sharatchandra and Broken Wings by Khalil Gibran are very close to my heart.

Q. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?

Being a technocrat, people know me for my professional reputation & having very little idea about my writing skills. People know me as a problem solver than a poet or Author. My writing work towards Romance fiction made surprised all of my colleagues and relatives.

Q. Future of SALISMANIA.com through your eyes?

Platforms such as Salismania are much needed in India, especially by Authors.

About the Book

"You are not a poet. Whatever you have written is more about the outer world but you have the skill to play around with words. In short, to describe you...

Words fail me to express...

How influential and touchy a poet you are,

I still can say no one knows better than you

To play with words in feelings of the heart...

Perhaps you are disappointed over your dreams being crushed

But I feel your agony is what has purified and beautified

Your talent, like gold in furnaces thresh," Shobha said.

Satya was astonished by how someone could predict him so accurately from his poems. She kissed Satya's heart in the depths at which the secrets of the poet's feelings were kept--the keys to which had been destroyed by Satya himself, after locking the door of his heart. But, she successfully opened it without the keys.

This is a love story of two poets Shobha and Satya from different classes, different places and different feelings about life. They had many differences but one thing common--that they were all alone in their hearts and were in search of their soulmates.

Step into Satya's world, which has all the colors of life and all the characters have been colored beautifully with the writer's ink, to touch every aspect of life.
