Q. Characterize yourself in one word?

Ambidextrous - Not in a slag way.

Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.

Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?

A small token of appreciation for the large debt I owe to the Indian Army for keeping us democratic, secular, integrated and most of all alive and a tribute to all my extended family I lost during the battles. My debut book “the deliberate Sinner’ was before “Mistress of Honour” which is still a sensation.

Q. What was the time frame for writing this book? Tell us an interesting detail or two, if applicable. For example, did you finish the first draft after one week?

It took me nine months to write it as the details were intricate and needed a lot of research. I interviewed 160 serving and retired officers on record for Mistress of Honour so every detail that you read in it is true to the word.

Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break in?

I believed in my work.

Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?

I’m a fourth generation Army kid so didn’t need to create a platform, it was already there and every person who is the citizen of India will be able to relate to this. Love, sacrifice, and passion are perfectly blended together to awaken all your sense while reading this one.

Q. Favorite novel?

Eleven minutes by Paulo Cohelo.

Q. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?

Come on, I don’t want to kill the sense of wonder and mystery.

Q. What’s next?

Something sensational and exciting.

Q. Future of SALISMANIA.com through your eyes?

There are no short cuts to hard work and you’re doing your best. Keep it up and my best wishes are always with you. Keep your dreams alive.
