EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW

Q. Characterize yourself in one word?

Dreamer.

Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.

A concoction which makes your heart do a somersault and at times, even a churning in the stomach.

Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?

This book was a conscious effort to collate some of my writings and present it to readers before embarking on a novel.

Q. What has been your biggest achievement?

The love showered on me by the reading public after going through my book.

Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break in?

Bringing some focus to the existing chaos, for writers are rarely orderly.

Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?

No, I didn't. But, Facebook was a surprisingly effective platform. After that, word of mouth advertisement by friends and colleagues has been a great factor.

Q. Favorite novel?

Les Miserables.

Q. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?

I have a short fuse... looks are deceptive.

Q. What’s next?

A novel.

Q. Future of SALISMANIA.com through your eyes?

A great platform for writers and readers alike. The team is young, enthusiastic and adept at their work.
