Anuj Tikku is a famous Bollywood actor and the leading face in several TV commercials and Bollywood films. He has a Management Degree from IMT Ghaziabad and an Engineering Degree from the University of Manchester. Currently, he runs a travel blog called TikkusTravelthon.in and has spoken in several blogger conferences as an expert and a motivational speaker.
Q. What inspired you to write this book?
Nothing. I just wanted to write on the life in a Kotha and how anyone can change their life through perseverance and will, like Kranti who rose from the life in a brothel to become a cop and saved her fellow whores from the world.
Q. What is the significance of the title?
Kranti is the name of the girl and Kranti also means revolution which she does from rising and achieving her dreams.
Q. If you had to describe Kranti in three words, what would those three words be?
Dependable, Strong and Sensitive.
Q. What kind of research did you do, and how long did you spend researching before beginning this book?
I have visited many brothels and pleasure dens around the world. I know how they feel and look. Rest I used my imagination.
Q. What were the key challenges you faced when writing this book?
The language, the dialogues are in Hindi and in the local vernacular that’s the way they talk in a Kotha.
Q. Who would you describe your book’s ideal reader?
The Youth and also woman who want to live an inspired life.
Q. If your book is adapted into a movie, who will play your main character?
Anupriya Goenka she will fit the bill, sensual, erotic and extremely natural in her acting skills. She will do justice to the role. She has also played a whore in Daddy and a shared wife of 5 brothers in Panchali. She has shown strength of character in her role in War. Along with that she has done wonders in the current OTT scene.

Follow your dreams and have no fear if you want it badly you will succeed.
