Q. Characterize yourself in one word?

Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.

It is a philosophical fiction on social entrepreneurship revolving around the Uttarakhand and Nepal tragedy with two plots running in parallel.

Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?

Nothing actually in terms of writing, though I have been an avid reader. This book was more of a happening than a doing for me. I wrote one page a day and it went on to become this book.

Q. What has been your biggest achievement?

There are many recently but the biggest was getting into a top notch college for engineering. I feel proud and happy for that always.

Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break in?

I have been very considerate and open minded to people and situations around me. That actually helped me to access the knowledge which is always around us but goes unnoticed.

Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?

No, I am in process of creating a platform. I am going to colleges now to lecture something related to my book. I hope the book is liked by people who have bought it initially. Slowly it will definitely gain its readership then...

Q. Favorite novel? The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

Q. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?

I am an introvert but generally does not appear that way when they meet me for the first time. Q. What’s next?

May be a sequel of this, it depends actually. Let’s see.

Q. Future of SALISMANIA.com through your eyes?

Keep going. Portals like yours can help young authors to get visibility for their product.
