AUTHOR: Yuvraj Human
PUBLISHER: NOTION PRESS
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Yuvraj Human is currently working in an IT company as Sales and Marketing Executive. He completed his MBA in HR and marketing from IBS Business School, Gurgaon (2013-15) and did his Graduation in commerce, (B.Com Honors) from Xavier's College, Kolkata, 2009-12. Apart from these credentials, he is very passionate about interacting with people of all ages; listening to their stories and making each individual feel important.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
When Yuvraj along with his family moved from Kathmandu to Kolkata, he came across a life that was different. Instead of going to school, he was told to work and support his family economically. Moreover, his feet started rotting and with slippers in his hands, he started walking barefoot. One day, when he was determined to quit and give up, his feet beseeched him and with a teary face agonized, "I know that right now everything around you is dark and you see no ray of hope. However, I don't want to give up, for I want to do what I was meant to. I want to walk." Yuvraj never knew that this episode would make him a stronger individual than he ever was.
The book will inspire you and will capture your nerves from the beginning, till the end.
A WALK is based on the life of a small boy who kept on walking with the help of his feet, those feet were the ones which directed him to carry on the walk of his life until he achieves. Yuvraj's story is excessively inspiring and heartwarming. You will feel empathy for him, from the very first page. The way he has narrated the story of his life is remarkable. After reading his story, you will surely realize the value of life. I felt emotionally connected to him till the very end. His story throws light on infinite children who unfortunately are deprived of lavish and pampered life. You can feel his pain, hardships, passion, and desperation to keep walking. The cover of the book is perfect and it suits to the title and blurb.
I would highly recommend this book to all those who dream to achieve, to all those who are in need of a hope to walk, and to all those who love reading real life inspirational stories. It’s a MUST READ!
Also, I would like to wish Yuvraj all the best for his book and his walk. I wish to read more of his works, though he quoted that this would be his first and the last book. But I want him to keep writing and keep inspiring us all.
