Q. Characterize yourself in one word?

Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.

This is a story of an IT organization that is going through a tumultuous transformation and how different employees see it from their own perspectives.

Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?

I have been following trends in disruptive technologies, digital life, future of work, etc. This is also the most contemporary and relevant topic for most of us. It affects our work life and eventual well-being. The book "Who Stole My Life" derives some of the similar elements in a story form.

My previous book was "Transit Lounge" - a travel memoir of 30 countries over the last 15 years. I have been an avid blogger and write on several platforms like LinkedIn, medium, etc.

Q. What has been your biggest achievement?

Every small achievement has been a stepping stone.

Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break in?

Clarity of objectives and determination to follow it through.

Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?

Not really, it is the first challenge that authors face to reach out to potential readers. I hope every subsequent work adds to the readership and helps build the platform.

Q. Favorite book?

It is hard to call out a single favourite book. I like ‘Animal Farm’ by George Orwell. A short fictional account that seems so real in our day to day life, even in today’s political and social setup. ‘Siddhartha ’ by Hermann Hesse is another book that I have read multiple times.

Q. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?

Not anything of much significance.

Q. Future of SALISMANIA.com through your eyes?

It is doing great work by connecting the readers with the authors. Reading and writing have always been instrumental for our development. BUY NOW: WHO STOLE MY JOB? by SUNIL MISHRA YOU MAY ALSO LIKE: DARIYA-E-EHSAAS BOOK REVIEW
