Tripty Bhardwaj is a scriptwriter, an anchor, a newsreader, and a teacher. She is a Master's degree holder in Physics and a Bachelor's degree holder in Science as well as in Education.

She has worked with Doordarshan as a scriptwriter and an anchor in the shows 'Geet Bahaar' and 'Geet Gunjan' for two and a half years and as a newsreader in an agricultural based show 'Krishi Darshan' for three years.

Tripty has always been a voracious reader of variety of literature especially science fiction, mythology and thriller, and mystery. Being a creative and self-motivated writer, she always tries to formulate her writing in a meaningful and logical manner. She successfully turns her framework of mind into simple and understandable language.



Q. Characterize yourself in one word?


Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.

It's a science fiction along with a few elements of fantasy packed with action and adventure.

Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?

I was in class 12 when the idea of Vyom and The Royal Weapon first struck me. I wished to be a part of such institution which works for the national security and provides its students the skills, knowledge, and training to fulfil the responsibilities to their country. So I created the world of VYOM.


Q. What has been your biggest achievement?

My mother and my sisters.

Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break in?

I didn't lose hope, kept going, kept working. I tried to learn and know new things, and I still do. I have faith in God. I believe that hard work is like energy, it can never be destroyed, and no matter how long it takes, your hard work will lead you to your dreams.

Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?

For now, since my novel is POD, Print On Demand, I've been promoting it on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Blogspot, etc, trying to get reviews from the authentic sources, taking marketing and advertising services.

My Gita by Devdutt Pattnaik.

Q. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?

I was around 16 when I'd written Vyom and The Royal Weapon. It took me ten years to get it published and during these years, I tried to improve it but the basic story is the same.

At the same age, I started working with Doordarshan Uttar Pradesh as a scriptwriter and an anchor.
