Till We Meet Again by Shibaji Bose is a story of life. A life in which you and I live 24 x 7 experiencing something positive, emotional, negative, inspirational, demotivating, and different. True life is different every second. Each second we live in is not exactly a copy of the previous one. The same is true for the book Till We Meet Again.
Every page brings in new drama, twist, emotions, characters, and mystery. The more you read, the more you will realize how big the world is. In order to catch the fast pace of moving life, you need to step out of the box and do something exceptional. Something unpredictable which is not thought, said, read, or written about.
Talking about being unpredictable, this book will leave no stone unturned to prove your prediction wrong. Its mysterious plot will lead you to the last page which again will leave you full of questions. The plot of the book is very fast-paced and there is no space for boring stuff. The words are used thoughtfully and the characterization is at its best. I also liked the cover of the book which is mysterious too.
I loved the idea of introducing new characters in the middle of the book. It keeps you hooked and doubles the interest. Also, the story is very relevant as there are multiple stories of multiple you and me like ordinary characters. You can feel a connection. Apart from that, the book also covers multiple social topics without disturbing the plot of the book. Which is quite beautiful.
Overall, Till We Meet Again by Shibaji Bose is a MUST READ. So, go ahead and buy this book from Amazon now!

Q. Characterize yourself in one word?
Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.
Till We Meet Again is a story of resilience and determination, it’s a heady cocktail of familial bonds, hope, deceit, vengeance, and love.
Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?
When I think of some of the all-time best of stories that has left a deep and everlasting impact on me, it includes but is not limited to the titles like Great expectations, Wuthering Heights, Oliver Twist, The Hungry Tide, Malgudi Days and Chowringhee.
The stories have celebrated the lives of ordinary people and the socio-political environment, which prevailed during those times. I knew I had a story and I wanted to narrate it. The beauty of writing a story about ordinary people is that it becomes relatable. It comes somewhere between a fiction and the fairy-tale.
So, sometime back in 2014 when I started writing the book, I had a fair idea of the central plot, the sub-plots, and the characters. The first thing that I did was to revisit my favorite books and find out the chapter planning by the authors. The idea was to create a page-turner. I had set myself with three clear objectives, considering the fact that the genre would be a contemporary fiction. The first being, each of the characters must evolve gradually but should not end abruptly.
Secondly, the socio-political environment must be realistic to make the reader believe that he or she is living it while reading the book and lastly, it must have a fairly wide appeal, instead of getting bracketed for a defined audience. The characters are on a first name basis till their surnames reveal their identity with respect to their caste, religion, stereotypes, etc. It was intentional.
Q. What has been your biggest achievement?
To come out of the rut of a 9 to 5 job and being on my own!
Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped your break-in?
I learnt not to question the wisdom of people. But to frame the right question and get the best out of them.
Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?
I think there is a definite vacuum of writing real stories in a world, which is overcrowded with the ‘make-believe’ storytelling. The ‘surrealism’ that is dictating and deciding the publishing calendars for the publishers; must start accepting the need to portray real lives and the times that they live in. I have made an honest attempt to break this glass ceiling and I hope that the writers will further this cause.
Currently, my blog www.shibajibose.com is the platform to feature and represent my cause. I have some more plans which will unfold in the near future.
Q. Favourite book?
Very difficult to pinpoint.
Q. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?
I am scared of cockroaches, lizards, and snakes!
Q. Future of SALISMANIA.com through your eyes?
Salismania is a platform, which is a promising open architecture for new writers. It must focus more and more towards building an organic audience of book readers, reviewers, and contributors; so that the promotions for writers become unique. Unique in the sense that it caters to a specific genre, writing style and narrative instead of reaching out largely to the paid influencers.
