ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Roshan Dilip Bhondekar, born and brought up in a middle-class family in India, is the eldest among three siblings. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Information Technology from the Government College of Engineering, Karad - Maharashtra - India (2008). He has further acquired a cutting edge to his academic profile by completing EDP (Entrepreneurship & Designing in Projects) from IIT, Kanpur in 2010, and a full-time Project Management (MDP) classroom program from IIM, Ahmedabad in 2012. He looks forward to attending Harvard Business School, for a top leadership program in the coming years.

Roshan Bhondekar currently works as a Leader with one of the most reputed IT MNC Companies in India. He has always wanted to do something creative, working with imagination, and focused on social development. During his academic career, he had aspired to become a creative social consultant. Apart from being an avid writer of articles, and a member of various IT leadership groups, he enjoys playing cricket.

The author is happy to place before readers this book, which has been a dream project since 2012. He wishes to donate 50% of the royalty from this publication towards the primary school education of rural and orphaned children.

Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.

The Path Towards Happiness i.e. Much needed Guidance for Frantic Life.

Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?

Being a part of an emerging country, my parents and teachers in the school are my major source of inspiration. Without this given and earned base, it would not have been possible to reach out to you individually and create a different kind of energy within you. My intention is to increase your awareness and to educate as many as possible among the people who are coming from out of great struggles in their lives, and who have decided to achieve something unique in life. I have seen many people who come across difficult situations but are unable to take control of these difficult times. I am here to encourage such people among you, and to support you in this dilemma. My greatest sources of inspiration are Mr. Bill Gates, Shree A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and Mr. Jack Canfield.

Q. What was the time frame for writing this book? Tell us an interesting detail or two, if applicable. For example, did you finish the first draft after one week?

It was a long journey, I have started to work on this book since 2010 and it took almost 5 years to write this book.

Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break in?

I love to listen to Kishore Kumar's & Mohammad Rafi's songs and sometimes playing cricket.

Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?

Yes, social media is playing a vital role such as 'Twitter books promotion campaign' is effective.

Roshan D. Bhondekar is a member of the Film Writer’s Association - India, a film writer.

Q. What’s next?

I am presently working on a hindi movie as a scriptwriter and film director. Looking forward to releasing the movie in the year of 2022.
