Poem - Her Letters

Her yellow dandelion letters
of an intimate friendship,
began over coffee cups
with smiley faces on them.
Her amaranth pink letters
so full of charm with a touch of lace,
makes me blush without her
ever knowing that she did.
Her red garnet letters
commitment rang the bells of truth,
embedded with consequences
they fiddle throughout my mind
realizing what devotion meant;
Her green sage letters
immersed in jealousy,
inked in contentment
growing soiled seed
of a murky conscience.
Her black sable letters
gazing back at me
addressing me in impact font
waiting for me to sign…
Her letters
