RATING – 4/5
AUTHOR: Abhirup Dhar
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Abhirup Dhar was born in Kolkata and is still being brought up in India. A banker by profession, he is filmy to the core and reviews movies for a certain website. He is passionate about writing and that itself has led him to pen his first book "Once Again... With Love!" - a quirky take on love, confusion and modern-day relationships. He believes the best stories are always about a man and a woman and these should be told in a simple way. Abhirup currently lives in Mumbai but his heart is in Kolkata and so are his parents.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
"It's a small world!" Dev smiles and taps Mishika on her shoulders. One rainy afternoon, two ex-lovers meet after six years by chance at an airport. They have moved on but they sit to talk... Come fall in love... out of it... in it again... and discover the meaning of being together with Dev, Mishika, and Priyasha - three oddballs muddled by the phenomenon of love, confusion, and relationships while they come of age. 'Once Again... With Love!' is a quirky take on love, confusion and based on modern-day relationships.
REVIEW: ONCE AGAIN WITH LOVE is short yet meaningful and leaves behind a lovely message for the readers who love reading novels with happy endings. To begin with the cover of the book, it is well suited to the title and the story. It reflects the confusion in modern-day relationships. Abhirup has smartly placed and played with his words to make his story simple yet wonderful. The description of all the characters and the language used is neat and swift. The thing which will attract most of the readers is the focus on the modern-day relationships and break-ups. Abhirup has presented this love-story with lots and lots of confusion and twists, which makes it appealing. I would like to recommend this book to all the love-story readers who love closing the book with a smile.
The story could have been less complicated and a few new scenes could have been included at certain places. Overall, it is a wonderful love story with a happy ending. I would like to wish all the best to Abhirup for his works ahead.
