Friends and Five Seasons Vol 2 by Madhukant Acharya Book Review

Book Review

Friends and Five Seasons Vol 2 by Madhukant Acharya is an action-packed book that will take you on an entrepreneurial journey full of surprises and twists.

Three friends with three different fields of interest unite together to create something exceptional and mind-blowing.

It is a tale of friendship, love, and trust which will keep you hooked till the last page.

What I liked the most about this book was the end. It was unpredictable, impactful and full of drama.

It is said that "We must accept the end of something in order to begin to build something new."

And that is the reason I will be waiting for a brand new version of Friends and Five Seasons Vol 3 with some new characters and stories.

If I am asked to summarize Friends and Five Seasons in a single word, then that word according to me will be - UNIQUE. This book is one of its kind and is full of unexplored experiences.

Being an entrepreneur, I found this book with an entrepreneurial plot quite interesting.

It will motivate, inspire and move you towards achieving your life goals. Apart from that, it teaches you amazing marketing ideas in a fictional way.

What I also loved about this book is the fact that it will take you on a roller-coaster ride full of emotions by covering all the stages of human life from birth, childhood, teenage, adulthood, old age, to death.

The language used in the book is simple and easy to understand. On the other hand, the characterization is at its best.

Also, the plot looks inspired by true events and stories which work as a cherry on the cake.

Overall, Friends and Five Seasons Vol 2 by Madhukant Acharya is a must-read. So, go ahead and buy this book from Amazon now!

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Rupen, Dinkar, and Ajit redeemed their pledge to work in the provincial city of their school days. By the sheer force of Rupen’s formidable reputation as an outstanding Editor of the World Chronicle and Vishwadesh newspapers in Calcutta, he came to the notice of the Emperor who picked him to revive his defunct newspaper. Rupen accepted and acted quickly by asking Dinkar to leave the King’s service and join him. Ajit left Calcutta to start his law firm in Patna and became the Chief Counsel of Dolphin newspapers run by Rupen. Steadfastly they sprinted towards their goals where duty above all else ruled their lives.

In 1959 Rupen interviewed JFK, President of the United States in the Oval Office at the White House which was globally reported in the media. Ajit meanwhile successfully fought the cases for Dolphin Papers in the High Court and Supreme Court and became a legal eagle par excellence. Dinkar cleared the hurdles as an ace administrator to push the newspapers ascent to the top. The three friends were a force to reckon with. Just then the Prime Minister wanted Rupen to mentor his young daughter being groomed to lead the party and the government.

Julie Thomas and Radha Thakur were the new age modern women of an emancipated India cutting through the iron wall of a patriarchal society while still retaining strong family bonds. One was a distinguished educationist and entrepreneur and the other a successful agrarian manager and homemaker. Both chartered out on independent careers that other women had not done before.

They had all lived through the four seasons together and then the fifth season arrived. That changed everything forever.
