ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Born in 1991 in Delhi, Dishant Huria has been a reluctant journalist and an active blogger. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a post-graduate in diploma in Advertising and Public Relations, his true calling came to light in writing this book. A sports and travel enthusiast, he is a part of a digital marketing firm, having worked with Network 18 and NNIS News Agency in the past.

Q. Characterize yourself in one word?

Adrenaline.

Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.

A conflict of desire and destiny can turn any human being endure sadness and misery, “When Karma Goes Upside Down” will create a turmoil in the minds of readers.

Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?

I have been an active Blogger and a reluctant journalist from a very long time, to be honest, I was preparing myself for the long jump of writing a novel all these years, and finally, when the time came I was all in. I had put everything on stake, to bring out sadness and misery out of the characters and today after early reviews it is safe to say that taking the “Leap Of Faith” was worth it.

Q. What has been your biggest achievement?

There are no set parameters of achievement in my life, however, I strongly feel that if I am able to leave this world with a smile then that would be the biggest achievement.

Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break in?

During the entire writing process of completing two Manuscripts, one published another on the verge of it, I have been strong like a Titan and I have believed in myself, that's the only mantra I have for breaking the odds.

Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?

Our major focus is to connect with readers on social media, and later on, when the novel reaches all over the place we may plan a book tour as well.

Q. Favorite novel?

“Women” by Charles Bukowski.

Q. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?

That I can cross the Olympic size Swimming Pool Underwater in one breath, hard to believe but yes I can.

Q. What’s next?

Trip To Russia and Learning Horse Riding are on the priority list.
