Q. Characterize yourself in one word?

Simplicity

Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.

Get ready for a thrill ride.

Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?

I was always fascinated towards writing a crime novel. I had tried to write one in 2010, but couldn't complete it. I then met a new set of people. We became friends, and we are very close now. They are creative and passionate about movies.

Last two years have been critical from that point of view. When I understood about their interest in making short films, I started narrating some stories to them. Most of them were 3 to 5 minutes long. We tried making a 3-minute film for a movie contest. Many friends loved it. That was the moment!

I then wrote two page or three-page write-up for a 150-minute movie. They liked my narration style and suggested that I should write a book. It was at this point that I decided to write this book - Murderous Greed.

Q. What has been your biggest achievement?

I still have time for the most significant achievement in life. At the moment, this book is a milestone in my life.

Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break in?

I got the right support from family and friends when I described the story to them. They showed the patience to listen to my plot. I owe it to them for motivating me to write the book.

Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?

I depended on my friends to promote my book. It was mostly through Facebook and Whatsapp that I spread the message about my book. I started getting the positive response. They liked the twists in the plot and called me to express their happiness.

Q. Favorite novel?

I like novels by John Grisham.
