Q. Characterize yourself in one word?
Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.
My book “Still Loved Still Missed” is a collection of 14 short stories and one poem, I will say, myriad hues of 15 worlds.
Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?
I think and feel deeply about almost everything I come across, whether it is animate or not. Hence I have vivid feelings which I put down to words. I was always interested in writing short stories, dribbles, drabbles and micro fictions. I used to write in my blog- https://stilllovedstillmissed.wordpress.com/fictions/
Q. What has been your biggest achievement?
As a writer, I received the Most Popular Writer cash award in 2012 from the online platform, YSC. I consider that as a great achievement and motivation.
Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break in?
There was nothing particular like that, but I will say there was this writing skill in me and one day it occurred to me that it’s high time that I published them as a book instead of storing them in my desktop or laptop. I made the effort and the book happened.
Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?
Apart from the website mentioned, I have a Facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/trailblazer11.22.44 . Then there is Salismania website and of course, Amazon & Goodreads platforms where readers review my book. Nothing speaks so authentically like the reviews of readers who speak what exactly they feel about the book.
Q. Favorite novel?
To Kill a Mocking Bird
Q. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?
Hahaha! I have a bit of X-ray vision.
Q. Future of SALISMANIA.com through your eyes?
Nothing can survives without a shoutout. So SALISMANIA is going to play a big role in the success of almost all authors irrespective of the publishing type.
