Sniper's Eye Book Review

REVIEW

Sniper's Eye by Mainak Dhar is an action-packed thriller with nerve-gripping twist and turns. It has everything which a thriller book must have.

A sniper is a highly trained soldier who specializes in shooting targets with modified rifles from incredibly long distances. They can just keep an eye on the target and boom, mission accomplished in a single shot.

Having read his previous best-selling book 03:02, I had very high hopes from the author. And guess what, he has nailed it once again with an amazing out of the box plot which is hard to find in India.

RELATED: Mainak Dhar Interview The book begins with a shock and ends on the same note. It will give you thrills and will keep you hooked till the very last page. It is a 224-page beauty which put lights on the political beasts with evil intentions.

The book is completely unpredictable and you can't guess what's coming next. It is written with so much detail, that sometimes it is hard to believe the author is not in guns. Every detail about guns, events and its functioning is so precise that your level of curiosity doubles.

The language used in the book is simple and easy to understand. Also, the characterization is at its best. I also loved the title of the book - Sniper's Eye which I found very creative. The cover also goes perfectly with the title.

Overall, Sniper's Eye is a masterpiece and if you don't read it, you will be missing out on something great. So, go ahead and buy this book from Amazon now!

ABOUT THE BOOK

As the body count mounted. I was soon sucked deeper into the chaos unleashed by that sound. To survive and save those whom I care about, I have to become the man I left behind. I have no choice but to tap into a bloody past that has put me on the terror kill list. I may also have no option but to join hands with the sniper terrorizing Mumbai.

The problem is that the man has sworn to kill me. In a world where the young and poor kill and die in conflicts started by the old and rich, I and my unlikely companion finally discovered the thin line that separates a mere killer from a hero. This is our story...
