Candid

Q. Please describe what the story/book is about in one sentence.

Understanding the pros and cons of our actions so that we can take necessary precautions to avoid possible obstacles and failures. This book covers MBA as a career advancing tool.

Q. Briefly, what led up to this book? What were you writing (and getting published, if applicable) before breaking out with this book?

After working in the industry for 14 years, I felt it is necessary to share my views and insights about MBA as a career tool. Writing a book was the most effective way of reaching the intended audience. Q. What has been your biggest achievement?

If you ask till date, I converted my hobby, my dream into reality and presented it in the form of a book - Straight From Life. But it is not the end, many more to come.

Q. Looking back, what did you do right that helped you break in?

I was apprehensive about reactions from the people but was pleasantly surprised by the huge support and positive feedback from the readers and industry colleagues.

Q. Did you have a platform in place? On this topic, what are you doing to build a platform and gain readership?

I am a learner, had no knowledge about the writing/publishing industry. I had to learn everything right from preparing the manuscript. I am using social media and traditional marketing tools to reach my audience and to increase readership.

Q. Favorite novel?

Love Story by Erich Segal and Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach

Q. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?

I am quite a simple guy with no pretensions whatsoever about myself. People tend to think I am arrogant since I tend to stay away from non-sense situations, ideas, and people.

Q. Future of SALISMANIA.com through your eyes?

Salismania.com is doing a wonderful job of bringing like-minded people together. It will certainly become a treasure trove of information and support for the people who are looking for guidance and information towards building their brands, businesses, and careers.
